16th of May, 2011 - Graphics

Hey again, Icey here.

Didn't work on the script today, but I tried my hand at title-graphic making. In yesterday's post, I mentioned that we FINALLY came up with titles. (Still haven't gotten confirmation from Foley Man and Dannflow, as my internet has been down all day.) So today I had a little play around with fonts, and settled on Papyrus, which I then modified a little, moving the 'owstring' in "Bowstring" up a few pixals, since the bottom of the B is really wide. Actually, the B looked a bit like a bow, and the hook of the g, looked like a target. It's perfect really, so I drew an arrow underlining the 'Strin'. Looks awesome, and you'll be able to see it bellow. Under the arrow, where I still had a bit of the gap since the arrow fired form the middle of the B-bow, I put the individual movie titles. "The Archer's Fable", "Veil of Trees" and "A Shadow Trail". Around the titles, I put a glow, then whipped up a camo texture for it. And THEN for each title, I made them different color schemes. "The Archer's Fable" is mottled brown for the glow with dulled gold text. "Veil of Trees" has a mottled green glow with bronzy/redish brown text. "A Shadow Trail" has mottled blue glow with silver/grey text. They all look rather awesome. Check them out below!
